For some, it was wielded as a cudgel to drive us from our communities, and we’ve abjectly rejected those notions, forging new paths to spirituality. For some of us, our faith brought us to our personal realizations, and created a warm, healthy environment for us to grow into, regardless of background. Still others found faith in recovery.
