Scarlet Envy Drops Divine Dance Track
Scarlet Envy grew up in Kentucky with two lesbian moms named Cherry. So it’s no wonder that for her first single post-Drag Race she would turn to fellow Southerner / NYC transplant James Wilson of Paisley Fields to collaborate on the song.
Now disclaimer – this is not a country song. It is a beautifully drawn out dance tune with sultry vocals and solid melodies over a sonic landscape that references both trip hop and americana.
However since we here are HUGE Paisley Fields fans here and since James had a solid hand in creating this sexy ‘time to dance closer’ number – it seemed appropriate to give a shout out. Plus… sometimes it’s just about the good songs.
