CQ Gives for March: GLSEN

Country Queer is pleased to announce that GLSEN (pronounced “glisten”) will be the recipient of our March CQ Gives contribution.

GLSEN works to ensure that LGBTQ students are able to learn and grow in a school environment free from bullying and harassment. “Every student has the right to a safe, supportive, and LGBTQ-inclusive K-12 education,” according to GLSEN’s website. “We are a national network of educators, students, and local GLSEN Chapters working to make this right a reality.”

CQ Gives will donate a portion of all proceeds from our March merch sales to GLSEN, so your purchases at our Etsy store will not only help with queer visibility, they’ll go toward helping queer kids go to school without fear of bullying. (Bonus: you’ll look hella cool.)
